ABC Family Taps New SVP of Scheduling & Acquisitions

BURBANK: Lynn Stepanian, who has been working at TV Guide Network, is joining ABC Family as its senior VP of acquisitions and scheduling.

Stepanian is responsible for all off-network series and feature acquisitions. She will also oversee the strategic scheduling of all on-air linear content and long-form video for ABC Family. She will execute and schedule all event programming, stunts and manage program inventory. Stepanian will be involved in the long-term program planning for the network as well.

Most recently, Stepanian had been working as the VP of strategy, acquisitions and scheduling for the TV Guide Network. Prior to this she was the senior VP of programming and distribution for The CW Plus.

In her new role, Stepanian will report to Michael Riley, the president of ABC Family. Riley commented, "We are most fortunate to have Lynn join our team. Her insights and expertise are wonderful additions and her relationships in the industry will help guide the network into our next stage of growth."
