He will work hand-in-hand with the Disney/ABC Television Group digital media team and business development to create new business ventures and partnerships in the streaming, social and mobile space. Additionally, he will collaborate with marketing, creative and branding departments and will work closely with ad sales to create new packaging and offers across all platforms.

The Kam.io team has created multiple number one charting apps, including “Dead Yourself” for The Walking Dead on AMC, “Orange is the New App” for Netflix and “Go Shark Yourself” for Syfy.

Ascheim said, “Kenny is a digital pioneer. He is going to bring that incredible talent to us and help us find new ways for our digital and social users to interact with our network and each other in new and meaningful ways.

“ABC Family has a great digital footprint driven by incredibly successful social shows. I look forward to building more digital programming and product that will entertain our audience and allow them to participate in new ways that bring additional value and meaning to our interactions,” Miller said.
