Young Sheldon Gets Two-Season Renewal

CBS has renewed Young Sheldon, its hit sophomore series starring Iain Armitage, for two more seasons.

U.S. television’s second most-watched comedy, Young Sheldon is behind only The Big Bang Theory, the inspiration for the spinoff and its lead-in. Armitage stars in the series as the younger version of Jim Parsons’ The Big Bang Theory character Sheldon Cooper. Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro, Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak are the executive producers for Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television on Young Sheldon, which also stars Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord and Annie Potts.
