Ecuadorian Soccer Matches Set to Premiere in the U.S.

MIAMI: U.S. Spanish-language channel Ecuavisa Internacional has secured the exclusive U.S. rights for ‘A’ league matches of the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF), that country’s leading professional soccer league, for the next three seasons.

The matches will be available to U.S. cable and satellite carriers including Time Warner Cable, Comcast Xfinity, DIRECTV and Verizon FiOS, as well as RCN and San Bruno systems. Ecuavisa’s agreement includes access to the broadcast feed and highlights of a total of 139 games per year. Additionally, the network has committed to provide highlights from all 12 teams for all platforms. The channel will begin broadcasting games starting with the 2015 season opener February 1.
