Former Endemol USA Exec Joins Banijay Studios

LONDON: Banijay Group's new production division Banijay Studios North America has hired Caroline Baumgard, who previously served as executive VP of development at Endemol USA, as its chief creative officer.

This marks the first key hire for the new unit, led by David Goldberg. Goldberg was formerly the chairman and CEO of Endemol North America.

Baumgard's responsibilities include developing original content for the company across multiple genres in North America that will also roll out globally through Banijay Group's production capabilities.

Goldberg, CEO of Banijay Studios North America and president of Banijay Group, said, "For more than twelve years, Caroline’s skills and expertise in identifying and creating potential future hits were a key driving force in the growth of Endemol USA.
