LONDON: Shine International now has its own branded channel on the streaming platform Roku, offering more than 200 hours of content in the U.S.

Programs on the channel, which is called Shine Now, will be available at no cost with advertising, or ad-free for a small fee. Multi-genre titles include drama, entertainment and documentary programming such as The School, Got to Dance, The Magicians, Eternal Law and The Sandhamn Murders.

“Shine Now is our first direct-to-consumer channel and Roku have been fantastic partners with whom to develop and launch it,” said Nadine Nohr, the CEO of Shine International. “We are excited about its potential and look forward to collaborating with them further to grow its reach in the future.”

“Our new streaming channel on Roku brings about new possibilities for Shine International,” added Gordon Synn, who brokered the initiative on behalf of Shine International. “Roku’s expertise in delivering great entertainment at a touch of a button makes them the perfect launch partner to introduce Shine Now to millions of households in the U.S.”
