Will Rothhaar to Portray Assassin in Killing Kennedy

WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic Channel has revealed that newcomer Will Rothhaar is to star as presidential assassin Lee Harvey Oswald in Killing Kennedy, a two-hour factual drama from Scott Free Productions.

Supporting cast members will include Mary Pat Gleason (1600 Penn) as Oswald’s mother, Marguerite; Francis Guinan (Boss) as VP Lyndon Baines Johnson; Boris McGiver (House of Cards) as FBI agent John Fain; and Jack Noseworthy (Event Horizon) as Robert F. Kennedy. Previously announced stars include Rob Lowe as John F. Kennedy, Ginnifer Goodwin as Jacqueline Kennedy and Michelle Trachtenberg as Marina Oswald.

Killing Kennedy is inspired by the successful book penned by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard. It is scheduled to debut later in the year on National Geographic Channel in the U.S. and around the world in 171 territories and 38 languages. Production begins this week in Richmond, Virginia.
