IMG Media Promotes SVP Hillary Mandel

NEW YORK: IMG Media, part of IMG, a worldwide sports, fashion and media company, has appointed senior VP Hillary Mandel as its head of distribution, acquisitions and sales for the U.S.

In her new role, Mandel will work under Ioris Francini, IMG Media’s executive VP and head of acquisitions and sales worldwide. Mandel has been with the company for 14 years, during which time she has worked in the areas of media consulting, programming development, property representation and media sales. She has been responsible for selling world championship properties into the U.S. and creating partnerships with top broadcasters, among other duties. She also collaborates with IMG senior executive Peter Smith on overseeing IMG Media in Canada.

"Hillary’s understanding of the North American marketplace is second to none and covers the entire media spectrum, from established national networks to the niche sport channels that have been emerging both in Canada and U.S. in recent times," said Francini.
