Starz Appoints SVP of Creative Services

ENGLEWOOD: Michael Vamosy has been hired as the senior VP of creative services for Starz Entertainment.

In his new role, Vamosy will work out of the company’s headquarters in Englewood, Colorado. He will be responsible for supervising the design, development and execution of all creative content for programming, marketing and sales initiatives. He will also contribute to the development of creative strategies for the Starz and Encore brands.

In the past, Vamosy has held the titles of senior VP and creative director for Buster, senior VP of design for FOX Broadcasting, and VP of design for FX Networks.

"Michael is a widely respected, award-winning media executive with a proven track record of extraordinary accomplishment," said Nancy McGee, the executive VP of marketing for Starz Entertainment. "With STARZ focused on enhancing and expanding the entertainment experiences we provide through our premium channels, online, and on-demand services, Michael will no doubt bring an exciting and fresh perspective to the senior management team."
