Hulu’s Woke Renewed

Hulu has given a second-season order to the live-action/animated hybrid comedy series Woke.

Inspired by the life of award-winning artist Keith Knight, Woke stars Lamorne Morris as a Black cartoonist with a newfound consciousness navigating new voices and challenging ideas. It is a co-pro between Sony Pictures Television and ABC Signature.

Season one of Woke premiered on Hulu in September. The platform has ordered eight episodes for the second season. The series was developed by Marshall Todd and Keith Knight.
