MUMBAI/LOS ANGELES: Z Living is launching this month a new prime-time reality-programming block featuring the original series Altar’d, Finding Fido and POPSUGAR Presents: Conquered.

New episodes of the three series will air weekly on Z Living on Tuesday nights. The U.S. health entertainment network is airing Altar’d at 8 p.m. The show follows the stories of six engaged couples that set out to adopt healthier lifestyles and lose weight before getting married. Three months before they say “I do,” the couples work with fitness trainers Chris Marhefka and Erin Stutland to transform themselves. The couples won’t see each other until they meet again at the altar. Altar’d is produced by Bodega Pictures.

In each episode of Finding Fido, which airs as part of the block at 9 p.m., New York Times best-selling author Seth Casteel (Underwater Dogs, Pounce) helps future dog owners find the perfect pup. Casteel matches dog owners-to-be with a canine that fits their lifestyle. Finding Fido is produced by 3 Ball Entertainment.

In addition, POPSUGAR Presents: Conquered will broadcast at 10 p.m. The show, from POPSUGAR Studios, showcases uplifting stories from individuals who have overcome obstacles and broken through boundaries to realize their dreams. Each half-hour episode tells stories of physical, personal and professional achievements.

Rajeev Kheror, the president of content and strategy for international business at Zee Entertainment Enterprises, said, “More than two years ago, in October 2014, we created an entirely new category—‘health entertainment’—in the U.S. with the launch of the Z Living Network. This January, the Z Living Network takes another momentous step as we further strengthen the original programming with the launch of our three new series—Altar’d, Finding Fido and POPSUGAR Presents: Conquered. These programs, which embrace our positioning, will further define health entertainment to the world.”
