War Crimes Dealers Racks Up Raft of Global Deals

War Crimes Dealers, produced by CAPA and directed by Alexandra Jousset (Illusion), has sold into several countries across the world and has been commissioned for broadcast in France by ARTE.

The 52-minute one-off documentary is slated to air on ARTE on April 23. It has also been bought in Germany by ZDF Info, Denmark by DR, Finland by YLE, Belgium by RTBF and the Middle East and Africa by Al Jazeera. Deals for additional territories are currently in the works.

War Crimes Dealers delves into the illicit arms trade that centers in Saudi Arabia, a country which has been bombing Yemen since 2015, with evidence of war crimes growing. France, Italy and the U.K. continue to supply the Saudi-led coalition with armored vehicles, tanks, guns and ammunitions. The documentary explores the culpability these European countries have in the war crimes allegedly being committed.
