Tricon Sells 280 Hours of Lifestyle Programming

TORONTO: Tricon Films & Television has secured sales for more than 280 hours of content from its lifestyle catalogue, including the new travel show Awesome Adventures.

Awesome Adventures takes teens on incredible journeys around the globe. The Emmy-nominated program has been licensed by British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Swiss Air and Saudi Airlines.

Stop Over was snapped up by Swiss Air and Saudi Airlines, which also went for Sports Gone Wild. The latter title is additionally headed to Digicast Italy and Sony Africa. Sony Africa also took The Lighter Side of Sports and Whaddyado.

Divine Design with Candice Olson was picked up by YES in Canada. A Bryk at a Time has landed on HRT Croatia and Home Channel Africa, which also opted for the first season of The Expandables.

Additional sales were made for Extreme Collectors to Globosat Brazil, Dining Innvasion to Saudi Airlines, and the second season of Zoo Clues, which was snapped up by TVB Hong Kong and AB Groupe for France, Africa and Turkey.
