Sky Vision Notches Up More Sales for Ross Kemp Title

LONDON: Sky Vision has secured additional sales for the fifth run of the docuseries Ross Kemp Extreme World, with Australia becoming the latest territory to snap up the title.

Ross Kemp Extreme World 5 follows the titular documentary maker as he travels to some of the most dangerous locations in the world and investigates how conflicts and hardships have impacted the locals. Pay-TV rights were picked up by BBC Australia, while the free-TV rights were sold to ABC. The series has already been acquired by international broadcasters such as Discovery, which took the title for Benelux. In addition, BBC Global Channels acquired the series for the Nordics, Africa and Poland.

Ross Kemp: The Fight Against ISIS is a special 90-minute version of the final episode in the series’ fifth season. In it, Kemp travels to Iraq and Syria to explore the fight against ISIS on the ground. When the documentary special aired on Sky 1 in the U.K. and Ireland, it achieved top ratings, becoming the highest-rated show across Sky’s platform of channels on July 14.
