Sky Vision, Bellum Partner on Great Escapes

LONDON: Sky Vision and Bellum Entertainment are teaming up on the 104×30-minute lifestyle series Great Escapes.

The series showcases extreme and luxurious accommodations across the globe, including hotels, hostels and camp sites, covering three or more places in each episode. In addition, travel writers tell viewers about the experience of staying in these destinations.

This is the third show that Bellum and Sky Vision have partnered on since 2014, following Kids Do the Craziest Things and People Behaving Badly. Sky Vision is handling international sales while Bellum is focusing on U.S. syndication. Sky Vision also reps What Went Down, It Takes a Killer and Corrupt Crime from Bellum.

“Sky Vision’s relationship with Bellum Entertainment has been tremendously fruitful, with our work on clip shows and crime series enjoyed by viewers around the world,” said Barnaby Shingleton, director of factual and entertainment at Sky Vision. “Great Escapes represents a new venture for our collaboration. We’re confident that the show will prove as popular with Sky Vision’s clients as the other great series we’ve launched with Bellum Entertainment over the last two years.”

Mary Carole McDonnell, founder and president, at Bellum Entertainment, said, “We continue to celebrate our relationship with Sky Vision in creating compelling programming that resonates with a worldwide audience. As travel remains a goal for people of all ages, Great Escapes will showcase the most unique and exotic locations from around the world for viewers to add to their travel bucket lists.”
