Prime Video Prepping Sven-Göran Eriksson Doc

Prime Video is to explore the life of football manager Sven-Göran Eriksson in a new documentary, set to debut later this year.

The doc, entitled Sven, will follow the highs and lows of the first foreign manager of the England National Team throughout his entire career. Familiar faces are set to appear throughout, including David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Roberto Mancini, Kasper Schmeichel, Nancy Dell’Olio and Faria Alam.

The title will premiere in the U.K., Ireland and the Nordics.

Sven is produced by Whisper and Up&Away Film Entertainment.

Eriksson said: “People interested in sports will likely know me and my career already, but the documentary also tells the truth – which hasn’t always been portrayed in the tabloids. It takes time to make a documentary but it has been a very exciting and fun process. The documentary tells the truth of what happened during my career.”
