Plimsoll Productions, an ITV Studios company, has named Elly Steinberg as its new head of development for natural history and science.

Before joining Plimsoll, Steinberg held back-to-back roles as a development producer at Entertainment One (eOne) and Pioneer Productions, working with major streamers and broadcasters. She also previously developed and supported a slew of productions for Humble Bee Films, Icon Films and Furnace TV.

In her new role, Steinberg will oversee the company’s growing slate of programming within the natural history and science division. She will report directly to Martha Holmes, chief creative officer for natural history and science.

Holmes commented: “Elly has a profound talent for cultivating meaningful wildlife and science-forward programming that resonates with a wide cross-section of audiences. We are excited to have her across our slate and on our team.”
