Orange Smarty Partners with TI Productions

Orange Smarty has entered into a new partnership with TI Productions, a subsidiary of TI Media, which owns such brands as Country Life, NME and Wallpaper.

Per the agreement, two new Stacey Dooley-fronted documentaries will be added to Orange Smarty’s catalog—Stacey Dooley: Face to Face with The Bounty Hunters, in which she lifts the veil on America’s bail-enforcement business; and Stacey Dooley Investigates: Kids Selling Drugs Online, in which she creates a fake social media profile to investigate the U.K.’s online drug dealing problem.

Also included in the TI Productions deal are The Great Train Robbery: The Hidden Tapes, which uncovers facts about the notorious heist; and Britain’s Forgotten Serial Killer, a documentary covering the “Beast of Manchester” Trevor Hardy.

Karen Young, founder and CEO of Orange Smarty, said: “Both TI and Orange Smarty are indies, which means we share a mindset, a culture of hard work and a passion for our respective businesses. That obsession with excellence is evident in TI’s world-class documentaries, which mix topicality and impact with exclusive access and meticulous research. And we’re confident it will also be reflected in the global sales of Stacey Dooley’s latest shows, as well as The Great Train Robbery: The Hidden Tapes and Britain’s Forgotten Serial Killer.”
