Building Bad, which combines engineering, science and crime to reveal the ingenuity of criminals who walk the dark side of scientific invention, has been licensed by Viasat for its platforms in the Nordics and CEE and by Warner Bros. Discovery for its Benelux platforms.

The ten-part series was produced by Shark Teeth Films for Canada’s Crave.

Sweden’s TV4 acquired seasons four through six of Law&Crime Productions’ Killer Cases. The series, originally produced for True Crime Network in the U.S., weaves together firsthand interviews and archival footage from some of the U.S.’s most chilling murder trials.

Sue Perkins into Alaska was picked up by SBS Viceland in Australia, Max in Benelux, TV4 in Sweden, Yle in Finland and NRK in Norway, as well as by the BBC for Poland and its pan-African and pan-Asian services. From GroupM Motion Entertainment, the three-parter follows the eponymous comedian and TV presenter on an adventure to the edge of civilization, where she puts herself to the test to explore the American state’s history, culture and communities.

Australia’s SBS Food opted for ITV1’s Dermot’s Taste of Ireland, a five-parter that follows the titular TV And radio presenter as he ventures back to his family’s home country on a gastronomic tour, and Below The Radar’s The Big Irish Food Tour, in which Dublin-born celebrity chef Anna Haugh heads home to explore the island’s unique culture and cuisine.

An Optimist’s Guide to the Planet, produced by Cream Productions for Crave and Bloomberg, was sold to DR in Denmark, Yle in Finland and SBS for its AVOD platform SBS On Demand in Australia. Hosted by Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the series takes viewers around the world to look at the brighter side of climate change.

“The global demand for quality true-crime content that offers a fresh take on the genre has never been higher,” said Sandra Piha, senior VP of pan-regional sales for the U.K., Ireland and Scandinavia at Cineflix Rights. “And series that combine food with travel insights in beautiful locations is an evergreen favorite with our buyers.
