New Charles Manson Series to Bow on Peacock

Peacock has slated the premiere of the three-part Making Manson documentary for November 19.

From Renowned Films, the series features never-before-heard audio of Charles Manson, pulled from over 100 hours of intimate conversations that were recorded over 20 years up until his death in 2017. It offers new details about Manson’s past and insights into his worldview.

In the audios, Manson reveals the cruelty he suffered in reform school and recounts the early crimes that led to the murder spree in the summer of ’69.

Nearly 20 contributors appear in the series, from those closest to his crimes in “The Family” to family members of victims, some speaking on camera for the first time.

Making Manson is directed by Billie Mintz (The Guardians) and executive produced by Max Welch, Kate Maddigan, Tim Withers and Duane Jones for Renowned Films.
