Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine, a brand-new Gold Rush spin-off, will premiere on the Discovery GO app leading up to the series’ broadcast debut.

The network will unveil seven mid-form episodes of the show on Friday, March 8, on the app, leading up to the show’s television premiere on Friday, April 5, at 10 p.m. Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine is produced for Discovery by Raw TV.

Viewers will recognize Turin—who earned the nickname “Dozer Dave” for his affinity for bulldozing on his quest for gold—from the countless hours he spent prospecting on the original Gold Rush series. Since his departure from the show, Dave has been traveling the country in search of one abandoned mine that he’s willing to risk it all to resurrect. The series will follow him on this journey, which will ultimately culminate in Dave picking a mine that could see him win big.

“Dave Turin cemented himself as a fan favorite as viewers witnessed his successes, failures, persistence and now, a whole new chapter,” said Scott Lewers, executive VP of multiplatform live event programming and network strategy for the Discovery and Science channels. “This digital-first series invites everyone to join him on his latest adventure and thrilling pursuit for gold.”
