Discovery Channel Lines Up Louvre Heist Doc

Louvre Heist: Minute By Minute, a one-hour special from Pioneer Productions on the October 19 theft of the Louvre Museum, is coming to Discovery Channel on November 26.

The special uses exclusive witness testimony, expert forensic analysis and detailed graphic reconstructions to track the moment the thieves infiltrated the museum’s perimeter and vanished with over $100 million worth of treasures. It explores theories about why the thieves targeted specific displays, who orchestrated the operation and what fatal flaws in their plan ultimately led to their capture. It will also examine why the Louvre was left so vulnerable.
