Love Nature has launched its 4K natural-history channel on Antik Telecom in Slovakia, further expanding its reach in Central Europe.

Antik Telecom subscribers will have access to Love Nature’s library of original programming, which includes hundreds of hours of natural-history content in 4K and HD on the channel’s linear and on-demand platforms. The channel will be fully localized on Antik Telecom in Slovakia.

This deal follows the launch of Love Nature in Slovakia on Skylink, M7’s pay-TV platform in June 2019, as well as its launch on Sky in August 2019 across the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Austria and Italy, as part of a multiyear pan-European deal.

Programming highlights on Love Nature 4K include Dogs with Extraordinary Jobs, which follows a group of dogs whose natural abilities are being harnessed by scientists, rescuers and the disadvantaged to improve lives, increase safety and maintain the health and biodiversity of our planet; Great Blue Wild, which showcases the adventures of the world’s greatest dive shops as they encounter massive humpbacks, manta rays, schools of fish and sharks; and Monkey Island, which shares the story of an ancient citadel, once home to Sri Lanka’s kings, which has now been reclaimed by the jungle with a new dynasty in power—monkeys.

“This deal significantly grows Love Nature’s footprint in Central Europe,” said Ward Platt, CEO of global networks and kids at Blue Ant Media. “Bringing the channel to Antik Telecom allows us to share our stunning natural-history programming with even more wildlife and nature fans in Slovakia.”
