ITV Studios has sold a raft of unscripted titles during the World Congress of Science & Factual Producers, including the documentary My Wife, My Abuser: Captured on Camera.

The two-part series, from Atticus Film & TV, tells the story of Richard Spencer’s seemingly perfect life with Sheree Spencer, a violent abuser who left him living in fear for 20 years. It has sold to Australia’s 9 Network, New Zealand’s TVNZ, South Korea’s T-Cast, Canada’s Bell Media, Belgium’s DPG Media, Denmark’s TV2, Finland’s MTV and more.

It was also picked up by TV4 in Sweden, TV2 in Norway, Viasat in Eastern Europe and OSN for 25 Middle East territories.

The six-part wildlife series Predator v Prey was licensed by Bilibili, iQIYI and Tencent in China; ARTE in France; Servus TV in Germany; EBS in Korea; and Skai in Greece. Produced by True To Nature in association with ITV Studios, the docuseries follows the fortunes of some of the world’s apex predators, including leopards, gray wolves and crocodiles.

The two-part series is produced by Pernel Media, and it explores Pompeii through a part of the preserved ancient Roman city that had yet to be explored.

Additionally, ITV Studios signed deals for On Thin Ice: Putin’s War on Greenpeace with VRT NV in Belgium, CBC in Canada, TVNZ in New Zealand, Histoire in France and ERR in Estonia. “Non-scripted is a hugely valuable component of our content portfolio and sales strategy at ITV Studios,” said Tom Clark, executive VP of global sales and commercial strategy. “The wide distribution of these fantastic shows globally is testament to the quality and diversity of the slate we represent, and the close relationships that ITV has fostered with so many independent producers.”
