ID Orders Second Season of High Speed Chase

ID has renewed High Speed Chase for a second season after the series, which debuted in July, attracted more than 5.8 million viewers.

Produced by Arrow Media, the show provides viewers with driver’s seat access to high-stakes police chases through never-before-seen footage. In the season one finale, a man shoots two officers and takes off in a vehicle towing a boat, and, in a separate incident, two robbery suspects flee capture in a U-Haul truck.

High Speed Chase has become ID’s number three freshman series in 2023 among adults 25 to 54.

“Since its launch, High Speed Chase has become an instant fan-favorite addition to our adrenaline-fueled block of action programming,” said Jason Sarlanis, president of Turner Networks, ID and HLN, linear and streaming, at Warner Bros. Discovery. “The show’s mix of shocking police chase footage and compelling witness testimony delivered incredibly engaging content that helped propel ID to be the number one ad-supported cable network, excluding sports, in total day with women 25 to 54 for the past four consecutive months.”
