Hulu Adds Jacinta Doc to Originals Slate

Jacinta, a documentary that centers on a young woman battling addiction, is set to be released as a Hulu original.

The documentary begins at the Maine Correctional Center, where Jacinta and her mother Rosemary, who are both recovering from drug addiction, are incarcerated. As Jacinta is released from prison, she hopes to maintain her sobriety and reconnect with her 10-year-old daughter. The doc will premiere on Hulu and in select theaters on October 8.

From ABC News and Impact Partners, Jacinta is directed by Jessica Earnshaw. It is an Endeavor Pictures production in association with Lunamax Films and Shotglass Productions.
