The new docuseries Call Her Alex, starring famed podcast host Alex Cooper, has been slated to premiere on June 10 on Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ worldwide.

Cooper is recognized as one of the most influential female podcasters of the generation. The series will give viewers an inside look into her life—from growing up in Pennsylvania to her journey as a 24-year-old creating a sex and dating podcast that turned into a media empire in only six years.

“I’ve shared my life with the Daddy Gang since I started Call Her Daddy—but this documentary series takes it even deeper,” said Cooper. “It’s a behind-the-scenes look at the moments that shaped me—the raw, the messy, the personal stuff I’ve never felt comfortable sharing until now. My hope is that by bringing people along for this part of my journey, they’ll feel both more connected to my life and more empowered in their own.”

Call Her Alex is directed by Ry Russo-Young (Nuclear Family) with himself, Braden Bochner and Christopher Foss as executive producers and Holly Sigel producing. The show will be produced by Cooper’s network Unwell. The deal was inked by Hulu and Lionsgate on behalf of Unwell.

Before its debut on Hulu and Disney+, the series will premiere on June 8 at the Tribeca Festival, and will feature a special Q & A with Cooper and Russo-Young.
