Hit + Run has elevated executive Noah Korn to senior VP of development to oversee the company’s current and developing slate.

Korn most recently helped conceive of National Geographic’s Never Say Never with Jeff Jenkins, which is airing on Disney+ and Hulu. He has also worked on series such as Critter Fixers: Country Vets, Swap Shop and I Was Prey.

Prior to joining Hit + Run, Korn served as director of development at ITV Studios America, where he developed Secret Space Escapes (Science Channel), Rebel Gold (Discovery), Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters (Animal Planet) and other projects for HISTORY, MTV, AMC, A&E, TLC, National Geographic and Food Network. He began his career in TV as a researcher for the BBC on the long-running series Watchdog.

“From Hit + Run’s inception, Noah has been integral in expanding our slate with premium bespoke content, nurturing talent and partnerships and growing Hit + Run into what it is today,” said Rob Shaftel, founder of Hit + Run and executive producer. “Incredibly, he’s established us as producers in nearly every genre of unscripted television, from global adventure to food to natural history.”

Korn added, “Rob has always championed an innovative slate filled with fresh POVs and buzzworthy formats. It’s a developer’s dream to be able to play in such a large and unrestrained creative sandbox at a company with such rapid growth and momentum.”
