HISTORY Expands Presence in Poland

LONDON: A+E Networks UK's factual-entertainment channel HISTORY is now available on Polish cable platform Vectra.

With this new agreement, HISTORY is being offered to more than 500,000 additional homes across Poland. The network will be part of Vectra's Gold, Platinum and Super HD packages, offering viewers access to such hits as Vikings, Pawn Stars and The Curse of Oak Island, as well as the upcoming shows Leepu & Pitbull and Forged in Fire. The channel first launched in the country in 2008 and is currently available in more than 4.6 million Polish homes.

Izabella Wiley, the general manager of A+E Networks Poland, said: "We are very excited about this launch on Vectra, as expanding the reach of HISTORY to new audiences is a priority for us.
