Gusto Worldwide Media has landed a carriage deal that will see Gusto TV launch on STIRR, a free ad-supported streaming service provided by Sinclair Broadcast Group in the U.S.

Gusto TV will be the first food channel to be offered to STIRR viewers. The streaming service rolled out in January on iOS and Android devices, Amazon FireTV, Apple TV, Roku and online. Gusto TV’s linear streaming channel and on-demand library will be available soon.

“Congratulations to our new partner Sinclair Broadcast Group on their successful launch of their new streaming service,” said Chris Knight, president and CEO of Gusto Worldwide Media. “We’re looking forward to stirring things up when Gusto TV rolls out. When we built the brand, our goal was always to take Gusto TV internationally. Fast forward to today and Gusto TV is global.”

Ben Lister, head of content acquisition and business development for STIRR, added: “We’re excited to have launch partners, like Gusto, join the lineup on STIRR as we look to expand our content partnerships in 2019. Gusto’s experience in mobilizing their assets for digital platforms, combined with the fact that our audience loves watching food shows make this a great opportunity for STIRR and Gusto alike.”
