Espresso Inks Deals for Vietnam War & Holocaust Docs

Espresso Media has signed deals in Europe, MENA and the U.S. for two documentaries about the Vietnam War draft and the Holocaust.

The Boys Who Said No!, from Judith Ehrlich, has been picked up by Hearst Networks in Germany for The HISTORY Channel, 3CAT in Catalonia, CANAL+ Group in France for Planète, American Public Television in the U.S. and Asharq News for MENA.

Produced by Insight Films, the documentary examines the youth-led movement of civil disobedience against the Vietnam War through exclusive archival footage and interviews with high-profile anti-war activists, including MLK, Mohammed Ali and Joan Baez.

As part of a package, CANAL+ Group also acquired Resistance: They Fought Back for Planète. The history documentary showcases untold stories of Jewish uprising, civil disobendience and guerilla warfare across Eastern Europe.

Additionally, CANAL+ licensed History’s Greatest Aircrafts and Where is Baby Gabriel.
