Earthshot Prize Docuseries Debuting on Discovery

The Earthshot Prize: Repairing Our Planet, a five-part docuseries featuring Prince William and Sir David Attenborough, is set to premiere on Discovery and discovery+ next month.

Launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation in October 2020, The Earthshot Prize is a global environment prize that aims to discover, celebrate and scale innovative solutions to the planet’s most pressing environmental challenges. The documentary spotlighting the prize will launch on discovery+ on October 3 and on Discovery in the U.S. on October 16.

The Prize is centered on five Earthshots—Protect and Restore Nature, Clean Our Air, Revive Our Oceans, Build a Waste-Free World and Fix Our Climate—goals for the planet that, if achieved by 2030, will improve life for everyone. Discovery is the global broadcast partner for The Earthshot Prize, for which the first-ever ceremony will be held on October 17.

The Earthshot Prize: Repairing Our Planet showcases the five Earthshot challenges facing the planet and highlights the work of the 15 Prize Finalists and their solutions to environmental challenges.
