TORONTO: Boat Rocker Rights has acquired the full factual and lifestyle programming catalog of Peace Point Rights.

The agreement brings Boat Rocker more than 40 programs, totaling 600-plus hours of content. The catalog includes a combination of Peace Point-produced programs and third-party acquired content, primarily in the genres of factual and lifestyle series and specials. The agreement also includes a multiyear first-look deal on new Peace Point productions moving forward.

“We’re excited to align Boat Rocker Rights with Peace Point’s accomplished distribution operation,” said Jon Rutherford, the president of distribution at Boat Rocker Rights. “Les Tomlin and his team have been consistently producing successful, globally accessible content for over 15 years. In addition, Peace Point has built strong distribution partnerships with a wide variety of content producers, and we look forward to working closely with each party and strategically representing their programs moving forward. These additions round out Boat Rocker’s factual content library significantly, and the new partnership on Peace Point’s upcoming productions will continue this pipeline into the future.”

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Jon Rutherford and the Boat Rocker team on furthering the reach of our global media brands,” said Les Tomlin, the president of Peace Point Entertainment Group. “We’re looking forward to working with Boat Rocker as our distribution partner as we continue to expand our growing slate of productions.”
