BBC Scotland Commissions Titles from Firecracker Scotland

Firecracker Scotland has received four series commissions for BBC Scotland, a brand-new channel that is set to launch on February 24.

Among the titles commissioned by BBC Scotland is Mini Disco Divas, which takes a look inside the gym halls and community centers of Scotland, where schoolgirls and boys are swept up in a competitive freestyle dance craze. Rogue to Wrestler goes behind the scenes of the Insane Championship Wrestling headquarters in Glasgow, and follows eight wrestlers as they’re trained by ICW founder Mark Dallas and his team.

BBC Scotland also ordered from Firecracker Scotland #BumpBirthBaby and Getting Hitched, Asian Style. The former follows moms and moms-to-be as they film their own stories for social media, while the latter centers on Saffron Events, a prestigious wedding planning company that caters to Scotland’s Asian community.
