Our House Media (OHM) has tapped former Entertainment One (eOne) exec Vibika Bianchi for the position of senior VP of current programs and development.

Bianchi was formerly the senior VP and EP of unscripted content at eOne, guiding the Canada-based content strategy for TV, digital and branded entertainment series. Her credits include Chuck & Danny’s Road Trip for Food Network Canada and CBC’s Back In Time For Dinner. Before that, she was VP of original programming at Corus Entertainment.

Additionally, OHM has upped Samantha De France to chief operating officer and promoted Tom Adams to the newly created position of VP of content. President Joe Houlihan adds oversight of the recently launched U.K. office to his remit.

The appointment and promotions are effective immediately. De France reports to CEO Simon Lloyd; Bianchi reports to Lloyd, Houlihan and De France; Adams reports to Lloyd, Houlihan and Bianchi.

“As OHM’s 2019 slate approaches 120 hours, Vibika’s vast production and managerial expertise, as well as her discerning taste, mesh perfectly with our ever-expanding slate and plans for continued growth in Canada,” said Lloyd and Houlihan. “Vibika has generated heaps of hit programming for Canadian and international audiences. We’re delighted to bring her aboard.”

“I’m so impressed with how Simon, Joe, Sam, and the entire OHM team have built such a successful content company in just a few short years,” said Bianchi. “Having worked closely with them during most of my 11 years in original programming at Corus, I’m not at all surprised. During that time, as we launched many shows together, we also built a rewarding, collaborative relationship with a shared set of values. Joining the OHM team is a natural fit.”

“Sam has excelled in her position as SVP of corporate and business affairs since joining OHM in 2014 and was essential in ensuring a smooth transition from nascent production house to the global entity we have become,” said Lloyd and Houlihan. “As such, her progression to COO is organic and natural—and reflective of both her immensely strong skill set and leadership qualities and of our current strategic needs.”

“We’ve had the pleasure of working with Tom for more than 14 years and have seen first hand his evolution into an immensely talented storyteller and creative executive,” added Lloyd and Houlihan. “His promotion is richly deserved and born out of our exponential growth and the hundreds of hours of high-quality content that he has overseen and delivered since OHM’s inception.”
