Polish Version of DocuBox Launches

Kino Polska Group has created a Polish version of SPI International’s DocuBox channel, with all titles featuring a Polish voiceover.

“DocuBox makes science and knowledge exciting and accessible,” said Erwan Luherne, managing director at SPI International. “That’s what makes it unique, and we believe that this channel fits perfectly the Polish TV landscape. The channel being tailored now specifically for the Polish audience is another strategic step in developing our comprehensive television portfolio. This spring, DocuBox will prepare many exceptional surprises for viewers.”

The new program slots and channel schedule for the Polish DocuBox have been designed to meet the needs of viewers of all ages at any time of day. On weekdays, mornings begin with a nature and history slot, while young ones can watch an educational slot. Afternoons feature a lifestyle slot. In the evenings, the channel will air science programs on Mondays and Fridays, documentaries on Tuesdays, historical deep dives on Wednesdays and nature programs on Thursdays. Weekends are dedicated to families.

DocuBox is available to Polish viewers through operators such as Play, Vectra, INEA and TOYA. Starting in January, the channel will join the Polsat Media advertising portfolio alongside other Kino Polska Group stations.
