BBC Studios Secures Factual Output Deal with Sky Deutschland

BBC Studios and Sky Deutschland have partnered for a robust output deal for factual content in Germany.

Per the long-term agreement, Sky Deutschland will serve as the pay-TV home for BBC Studios premium factual content in Germany, exclusively hosting more than 150 hours of factual titles from its catalog. The BBC Studios content will be available on Sky Deutschland’s Sky Nature and Sky Documentaries channels.

Among the acquired titles from the BBC Studios catalog are Greta Thunberg: A Year to Change the World, Louis Theroux: Shooting Joe Exotic, David Attenborough: The Sound of Nature and Primates.

Sky Deutschland launched in Germany in September 2021.
