Kew Media Distribution has inked a raft of deals for nonfiction titles from around the world, including My Paranormal Nightmare, which is headed to Travel Channel in the U.S.

Travel Channel has also secured the rights to season two of BGM’s Paranormal 911, which follows the paranormal encounters witnessed by emergency services, and season two of Haunted Hospitals, telling chilling stories of paranormal activity inside hospitals, nursing homes and morgues, for the U.S. only. Haunted Hospitals seasons one and two have also been sold to Foxtel for Australia and New Zealand, Kino Polska, TV JOJ in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and Canal Plus for France and French-speaking Africa. Discovery in Germany and the U.K., Viacom in LatAm and Scandinavia and Celestial Tiger Entertainment for several countries in Southeast Asia have all signed deals for season one.

High Maintenance from Frantic Films focuses on the maintenance of engineering megastructures, rather than their construction. The series is an original Canadian production for Blue Ant Media’s Smithsonian Channel Canada and has been picked up by Azerbaijan Public TV & Radio Broadcast Company and FTV Prima in the Czech Republic.

In addition, Blue Ant Media in Canada has signed deals for Our House Media’s (OHM) My Paranormal Nightmare and Mutant Weather, a dramatic look at how weather patterns are changing and threatening life on our planet. Foxtel in Australia and New Zealand, as well as Sky in the U.K., have confirmed deals for Murder in Amish Country, also from OHM, featuring some of the most extraordinary and challenging murder cases in America’s Amish community.

Further deals signed by Kew Media Distribution include sending My Paranormal Nightmare to FTV Prima in the Czech Republic and Kino Polska, and Mutant Weather to Viasat World for Europe, Discovery in the Middle East, Canal Plus in France and French-speaking Africa and National Geographic in Australia.

Deals have also been signed for season one and two of Paranormal 911 with Foxtel for Australia and New Zealand, and season one has been sold to Celestial Tiger Entertainment for Southeast Asia and Discovery for the U.K. and Germany.

Kew Media Distribution’s executive VP of sales, Jonathan Ford, commented, “Kew Media Distribution has unrivaled access to the best nonfiction programming on the market, thanks to its close relationship with Kew Media Group’s acclaimed partner companies, including OHM, Frantic Films and BGM.
