VIMN Makes Deals Across Middle East & Africa

LONDON: Broadcasters in the Middle East and Africa have picked up programming from Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN).

Viasat in Ghana purchased Salt n’ Pepa. The South African Broadcasting Corporation of South Africa bought the third season of Teen Mom and the first season of If You Really Knew Me, as well as season two and part of season three of 16 and Pregnant.

In the Middle East, MBC3 signed up for a plethora of programming from Nickelodeon as part of a four-year block agreement, which includes the first three seasons of Jimmy Neutron, the first two seasons of Blues Room and All Grown Up, season one of Danny Phantom and As Told by Ginger, the sixth season of Dora the Explorer, the second season of Fanboy & Chum Chum and seasons three, four and five of iCarly. MBC3’s deal also involves the first seasons of T.U.F.F. Puppy, Kung Fu Panda, Victorious and The X’s, the first two seasons of Mighty B, season two of Penguins of Madagascar, the seventh and eighth seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants and Fairly Odd Parents and the first four seasons of Chalkzone.
