STARZ Play Arabia & Warner Bros. Enter New Pact

DUBAI: STARZ Play has inked a new multiyear agreement with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution that adds to its streaming offering across the MENA region.

STARZ Play will have access to hit TV shows such as the superhero series The Flash, the fantasy comic series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the action adventure Supergirl and the crime drama Blindspot. The deal kicks off as of this month.

The agreement also includes the on-demand streaming rights for all ten seasons of the sitcom Friends.

Khaled Benchouche, the senior VP of programming and acquisition at STARZ Play, commented: “This is a landmark deal which adds some of the most demanded and searched titles to our library. We have been successful in attracting top studios to our platform and we are delighted to work with Warner Bros., which is one of the most reputable names in the industry.”
