Paul Johnson Joins Al Jazeera in Marketing & Distribution Role

DOHA: Paul Johnson, who previously held posts at the Endemol Group and Reed MIDEM, has been hired by Al Jazeera Media Network to serve as its executive director of marketing and distribution. 

Johnson will oversee all the global marketing, communication and distribution activities at the company. He will work to expand Al Jazeera’s international presence and global brand. Johnson was most recently on the executive board of Endemol Group, where he was serving as CMO. He prior to that, he was the director of television markets in Cannes for Reed MIDEM. At Al Jazeera, Johnson will be based in Doha and report to Sheikh Ahmed Bin Jassim Al Thani, the director general of Al Jazeera Media Networks.
