TeleFutura Makes Key Appointments, Expands Programming

MIAMI: Luis Fernández-Rocha has been named senior VP of TeleFutura and Carlos Bardasano the VP of programming and original productions at the network, which is expanding its programming lineup to include the hit series Family Guy as well as a new daytime talk show.

Fernández-Rocha most recently served as the senior VP and regional director of Univision Television Group in the southeast. He will now oversee all operations of the network. He will report to Luis Fernández, the president of entertainment and Univision Studios.

Bardasano was previously the managing director of the Spanish media management company Kastuera. He was also previously the VP of programming and development for Univision Television Networks and VP of programming for Telemundo. He will now be responsible for entertainment programming at TeleFutura. He will report to Fernández-Rocha.

TeleFutura has also announced the addition of Family Guy to its prime-time schedule. This is the first time the hit show will air on Spanish-language television in the U.S. Also joining the TeleFutura lineup is a new talk show hosted by Charytín.
