BBC Studios has licensed more than 100 hours of scripted, factual and children’s content to WarnerMedia for HBO Max in Latin America.

HBO Max plans to deliver more than 100 local original productions in Latin America over the next two years, with 33 already in production.

WarnerMedia has appointed Luis Duran, who most recently served as chief commercial officer for the digital unit of MBC Group, as general manager for HBO Max Latin America, set to join the company in February.
