NEW YORK: The first-ever movie developed by Fluency Productions, a new multiplatform studio from NBCUniversal Hispanic Enterprises and Contents, is set to debut on multiple NBCUniversal networks next month.

That film, titled Isa, tells the story of a teenage whiz kid who uncovers a criminal enterprise that steals the dreams of children to make billions on Wall Street. The sci-fi title is the directorial debut of Cuban-born filmmaker Jose Nestor Marquez and the first feature-length project released by Fluency, an outfit geared towards producing content for a multicultural Millennial audience.

Isa will air June 11 on Syfy, followed by broadcasts on horror channel Chiller June 17 and on U.S. Hispanic network mun2 June 27. Telemundo will broadcast it later this summer. Additionally, the flick will be available for purchase on several streaming platforms, including iTunes, Google Play and Xbox Video.
