Participation Triples for Second MIPCancun

PARIS/CANCUN: The second annual MIPCancun summit had a threefold increase in participation, with 300 television buyers, distributors and producers attending from 40 countries, according to event organizer Reed MIDEM.

The three-day gathering ran from November 18 to 20. Its focus is to connect TV and digital content buyers from 22 Latin American countries with distributors and producers worldwide. This year, MIPCancun introduced a two-day standalone conference with the theme “Pasíon por la Televisón,” along with a series of new networking events and program screenings from Kanal D (Turkey), FOX International Channels (Colombia) and Comarex (Mexico).

Reed MIDEM has also announced that next year’s MIPCancun will take place November 16 to 18.
