New Head of Acquisitions at Telefe

BUENOS AIRES: Mercedes Feu, formerly of Turner Broadcasting, has joined Telefe as the company’s new head of acquisitions.

Her main responsibility will be to select and manage the acquisition of content-broadcast rights for Telefe. She will report directly to Darío Turovelzky, who leads the company’s programming and promotions area.

The exec most recently worked in Turner’s acquisitions area and has broad experience in contracts evaluation and negotiation for content acquisition.
