NBC Universo to Air Sci-Fi Series Alphas in Spanish

MIAMI: U.S. Latino channel NBC Universo is set to debut next week the sci-fi series Alphas in Spanish.

The show will debut August 19 and air weekly on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. The one-hour drama from BermanBraun Television and Universal Cable Productions originally aired on Syfy in the U.S. It centers on a team of people with the unique power to stretch the capabilities of the human mind, giving them superhuman physical and mental abilities.

“Compelling sci-fi series capture the imagination of U.S. Latino viewers,” said Bilai Joa Silar, the senior VP of programming and production at NBC Universo. “With both a classic cult series in Battlestar Galactica, and now a supernatural crime drama in Alphas, NBC Universo is offering our viewers outstanding, back-to-back sci-fi entertainment options on Wednesday nights.”
