NBC Universo Planning Multiplatform Coverage of Viña del Mar Music Fest

MIAMI: NBC Universo has secured the exclusive U.S. multiplatform rights for the Festival Internacional de Viña del Mar 2015, a Chilean music fest featuring some of the biggest Latin American performers.

As part of its six-day coverage, the network will kick off a live stream on its website February 22, followed by a one-hour TV special featuring Mexican musician Alejandro Fernandez on February 25. Then, starting March 1, the channel will air for two months television concert specials letting viewers re-live the performances.

Multiple hours of exclusive live coverage will also be available on tablets and mobile devices, as well as on demand. NBC Universo subscribers on participating cable, satellite and telco services can catch up on the full concerts at any time for up to ten days after premiere via the NBC UNIVERSO NOW mobile app, as well as authenticated VOD and TV Everywhere.
