MP & Silva Holds On to Brazilian Football Rights Until 2015

MIAMI: MP & Silva and Globo, the exclusive distributor of Campeonato Paulista and Brasileirao, have extended their partnership for the distribution rights for the Brazilian championship in selected countries in Europe and Asia until 2015.

MP & Silva retains its rights for Campeonato Brasileiro da Série A (also known as Brazilian League Série A or Brasileirão) and Campeonato Paulista in France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar. The new agreement builds on a relationship between MP & Silva and Globo for the rights that began in 2011.
