PALISADES PARK: Alfred Haber Inc. (AHI) has secured various deals for the 16th annual Latin Grammy Awards, set to air later this week.

This year’s show, which Univision will broadcast live in the U.S. on November 19, is being offered from AHI in both its televised three-hour commercial version (plus a one-hour red-carpet pre-show), as well as a specially edited two-hour English version. Global broadcasters that have signed on for the awards show include CCTV (China), Telelatino (Canada), Televisa (Mexico), Turner (Latin America), CEETV (Colombia), Sociedad Independent (Portugal), SBT (Brazil) and Power TV (Turkey).

“No other television event celebrates Latin music and culture like the spectacular Latin Grammy Awards,” commented Alfred Haber, the distributor’s president. “With its energetic performances, exceptional productions and extraordinary, party-like atmosphere, we have no doubt the Latin Grammy telecast will generate outstanding ratings.”
